This course is available to people living in the East Sussex area.

Everyone can feel stressed from time to time. It can result from difficulties at work, money worries, ill-health, and problems within the family or other challenging life events. This can cause us to worry and feel anxious, become less active or to experience unhelpful thoughts.

The 'Living Well with Stress' course aims to help you better understand the difficult emotions you might be experiencing and learn clinically proven Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to overcome common symptoms of stress.

This is an online presentation style course where facilitators will present information and talk you through tools and techniques. You are welcome to ask the facilitators any questions about the material. However, this is not a therapy or support group therefore facilitators will not be asking you to disclose in-depth personal information and there will not be any spaces for sharing your experiences with other attendees.

What’s involved in the course?

· This online course runs for five weekly sessions.

· Each session is 1 hour 30 minutes long, with a 10 minute break in the middle.

· The course will be facilitated by 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, who have been trained to deliver low intensity cognitive behavioural interventions for anxiety and depression.
