This is an eight week course which uses a combination of Western behavioural therapy and Eastern Meditation.  Each session is 2 hours long.

Mindfulness is an awareness that emerges when we pay attention to our experience in a particular way: in the present moment, non-judgmentally, and with a spirit of acceptance, noticing and accepting the thoughts that come into our minds and then learning to let them go instead of getting caught up with the emotion and the worry that can be triggered by the thoughts.  This is delivered in a group setting and at the start of the course everyone is given a work book and a CD to enable them to practice at home between sessions.
